Mr. Arun B, District Skill Development Officer (DSDO) of Udupi along with his assistants, visited MSDC – Skill Labs on 19 October 2023 afternoon to get firsthand information on our skill development initiatives. The team visited many of our skill labs to see the machinery/equipment and their applications/usage. They met the Chairman and Registrar of MSDC and assured support from their side, through KSDC, Bangalore in organising/promoting short term training programs to local school children (both drop-outs & regular) as well as to rural/unemployed local community, in an attempt to make them self-employed or promising entrepreneurs. Brig. Dr. Surjit Singh Pabla, the Chairman & Dr. Radhakrishna S. Aithal, the Registrar of MSDC; Mr. T Ranga Pai, the Director, Prof. Kantharaj A N, the Principal and Prof. Nagaraja, HOD (Mechanical & Mechatronics) of Dr. T M A Pai Polytechnic were present during the visit.
