Dr. E V Ramana Reddy, Senior IAS officer, past Chief Secretary to CM and presently the Chairman of Karnataka Skill Development Authority (KSDA), Government of Karnataka visited MSDC Skill Labs on 27 November 2023. A detailed presentation was made by MSDC Chairman, Brig. Dr. S S Pabla on the MSDC activities and developments. Trustee, Sri T Sachin Pai, Registrar, Dr Radhakrishna S Aithal, other Professors and skill lab in-charges were present.

Dr. Reddy visited all the functioning skill labs and appreciated the efforts of Dr TMA Pai Foundation in realising the objectives of Skill India Mission. He emphasised the need to build a wide-spectrum School of IT skills focussing on Cyber laws/security, Cyber crime prevention and soft skills. He also assured support from his office to MSDC in getting recognised as “Skill Hub” in the coastal region.
