The Manipal Skill Development Center (MSDC), Manipal, successfully organized an interactive session on “Adverse Drug Reaction and Its Reporting” on Tuesday, 5 May 2026. The session was conducted in association with MedSafe: Towards Safer Tomorrow, Pharmacy Literacy Club, and the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), MAHE, Manipal.
The program focused on creating awareness about Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR), the importance of pharmacovigilance, and the proper ADR reporting process in healthcare practice. The session covered key topics including the introduction to ADR, understanding the reporting procedure, and an overview of the suspected ADR reporting form.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The interactive session provided participants with practical knowledge and enhanced their understanding of patient safety and responsible healthcare practices.
The program was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh V, Dr. Sonal Sekhar M, Dr. M Surulivel Rajan, and Dr. Srinivas Mutalik.
