Overview
This Industrial Training / Internship program provides engineering students with practical exposure to CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and industrial production environments. The course combines classroom learning with extensive hands-on practice to develop job-ready technical skills required in modern manufacturing industries. Learners gain practical experience in CNC Turning, CNC Milling, programming, production planning, simulation software, and safety practices.
Duration & Eligibility
- Duration: 1 Month (4 Weeks) including classroom sessions, practical machine training, industrial assignments, and assessments.
- Eligibility: Students pursuing Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
Learning Outcomes
- Prepare CNC machine programming and production based on engineering drawings.
- Select suitable raw materials, cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Program CNC Turning and Vertical Machining Centers.
- Simulate CNC programs using desktop software.
- Load part programs into CNC systems and verify machining operations.
- Understand tool movements, spindle functions, tool changes, and machine operations.
- Follow industrial safety standards and PPE practices.
- Independently operate CNC Turning and Milling Centers efficiently.
