Overview
This course provides training in CNC programming and operations, including tool selection, machine setup, program simulation, and prototype production, along with health and safety practices. It also develops professional skills such as communication, presentation, and interview readiness, preparing learners for careers in manufacturing.
Duration & Eligibility
- Duration: 16 Weeks (640 hrs)
- Eligibility: Students pursuing Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, Aeronautical & Industrial Engineering
Learning Outcomes
- Plan CNC operations from drawings and specs.
- Select materials, tools, and cutting parameters.
- Program and simulate CNC turning/milling operations.
- Load programs, set up machines, and verify prototypes.
- Follow safety and fire protection procedures (PPE, PASS method).
- Develop CNC programs independently and operate machines.
