Overview
This program offers comprehensive vocational training in four-wheeler service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, jointly designed by Bosch India Foundation and Manipal Skill Development Centre (MSDC). It integrates hands-on workshop training, industry best practices, and structured employability enhancement modules, reflecting Bosch’s proven skill development model that combines strong technical expertise with essential soft skills and job-readiness competencies.
Duration & Eligibility
- Duration: Approximately 2 months (practical + theoretical training + on-job exposure).
- Eligibility: Minimum 10th pass or equivalent, age typically 18–26 years (may vary per batch criteria).
Learning Outcomes
- Master routine servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and preventative maintenance of 4-wheeler vehicles.
- Understand automotive systems including engine, transmission, braking, electrical and fuel systems.
- Gain proficiency in Bosch automotive tools, scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Develop strong soft skills & workplace readiness (communication, team skills, safety practices).
