MSDC Manipal Highlights Emerging Technologies at Byndooru Utsava 2026

Byndoor, Karnataka | January 24–26, 2026:

Manipal Skill Development Center (MSDC), a unit of Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foundation, actively participated in the grand Byndooru Utsava 2026, a three-day celebration held at Gandhi Maidan, Byndoor.

Byndooru Utsava, envisioned by Sri Gururaj Gantihole, Hon’ble MLA of Byndoor, and led by President B.Y. Raghavendra, is emerging as one of the most significant social, cultural, and developmental festivals of Karnataka’s coastal region. The festival focuses on holistic development across employment, education, health, tourism, infrastructure, and industry, while bringing together youth, entrepreneurs, and communities on a single platform.

As part of the technology and innovation segment of the event, MSDC Manipal showcased advanced and future-ready technologies to school students, college students, and the general public. The Robotics section featured live demonstrations of working robots, helping students understand automation and engineering concepts. The 3D Printing segment displayed a functional 3D machine, explaining the process of digital design and modern manufacturing.

In the IT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) zone, MSDC conducted live demonstrations using an AI Kit, where the functioning of artificial intelligence was practically explained to students through interactive models and real-life examples. A major highlight of the event was “AI on Wheels”, a specially designed mobile vehicle equipped with AI kits and learning tools. This innovative vehicle is developed to travel to rural areas, institutions, and colleges, with the objective of delivering hands-on AI education and digital awareness directly to students who have limited access to advanced technology.

The interactive exhibits enabled students to gain practical exposure to emerging technologies and encouraged them to explore career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.

Through its participation at Byndooru Utsava, MSDC Manipal reinforced its commitment to the Skill India Mission by promoting technology-driven learning, innovation, and inclusive skill development across both urban and rural communities.
