Manipal Skill Development Center (MSDC), a unit of Dr. T. M. A. Pai Foundation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chuoh Publishing Holdings Co., Ltd., Japan, to introduce structured Japanese Language Training Programs for students, professionals, and individuals aspiring for global career opportunities.
The MOU signing ceremony was held at the MSDC Conference Room, Manipal, marking a significant milestone in international academic collaboration. Through this partnership, MSDC will offer beginner to intermediate Japanese language courses aligned with global standards and industry requirements.
The program will focus on developing practical communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing, along with exposure to Japanese culture, workplace ethics, and professional communication. This initiative is designed to prepare learners for higher education, employment, and career prospects in Japan and with Japanese companies operating in India.
Speaking on the occasion, MSDC officials stated that the collaboration will help bridge the skill gap and open new international pathways for local youth. Representatives from Chuoh Publishing Holdings expressed confidence that the program would strengthen cultural exchange and create meaningful learning opportunities.
