Manipal Skill Development Centre (MSDC), in association with Bosch India Foundation, conducted an Orientation Program for the new batch of students under the LEAP Program (Livelihood Enhancement through Automotive Skills Development) on 23 December 2025.
The orientation session marked the formal beginning of the training journey for the newly enrolled learners and provided a comprehensive overview of the LEAP Program. Designed and supported by Bosch India Foundation, the program aims to equip youth with industry-relevant automotive skills while strengthening their employability through structured technical and soft-skill training.
During the orientation, students were briefed on the course curriculum, hands-on workshop training, safety standards, and Bosch’s proven skill development methodology. The session also highlighted career pathways in the automotive sector and the importance of discipline, quality, and industry readiness—core values emphasized by Bosch.
Through the LEAP initiative, MSDC and Bosch India Foundation continue to work together to bridge the skill gap in the automotive sector and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for young aspirants through quality vocational education.
