Overview
This industry-oriented Japanese Language Course (JLPT N5 – Beginner Level) equips learners with the foundational Japanese language skills required for higher education, professional employment, and career opportunities in Japan. Offered by Manipal Skill Development Centre (MSDC) in collaboration with KTC Holdings India Pvt. Ltd. and Chuoh Publishing Co., Japan, the program focuses on reading, writing, listening, speaking, and understanding Japanese workplace culture. Through classroom training, practical language exercises, interactive conversations, and cultural orientation, learners gain the confidence to communicate effectively and prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N5).
Duration & Eligibility
Duration: 132 Hours (3 Months) combining classroom instruction, language practice, conversation sessions, assessments, and cultural orientation.
Eligibility: ITI, Diploma and Polytechnic students, undergraduate and postgraduate students, Engineering, Science, Commerce and Management graduates, fresh graduates, working professionals, candidates interested in Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) pathway, and beginners with no prior knowledge of Japanese.
Learning Outcomes
- Read and write basic Japanese using Hiragana, Katakana, and introductory Kanji.
- Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for everyday communication.
- Learn Japanese grammar, sentence structures, and essential vocabulary.
