Course Description
Overview
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to 3D printing and its industry applications, covering printer components, functionality, and safety practices. Learners will explore the complete workflow from design and slicing to printing and post-processing, create models using beginner- friendly CAD software, prepare designs with slicing software and G-code generation, set up and operate a 3D printer, and apply post-processing techniques. The course also includes hands-on 3D scanning, teaching learners to scan physical objects, optimize data for printing, and explore applications in reverse engineering, customization, and digital manufacturing.
Duration & Eligibility
Duration: 2 Weeks (30hrs)
Eligibility: PUC, Diploma, Engineering students.
