Digital Printing Lab

Digital printing is a method of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of media such as paper, plastics or even metals. Unlike traditional printing, digital printing does not require large printing space, making it more cost effective for short print runs and allowing for customization. Professional digital printing uses electrical charge to transfer toner or liquid ink to the substrate on to which it is printed.

Applications of digital printing: Most common applications are brochures, business cards, posters and even textile printing for custom apparel.

Desktop publishing: Inexpensive home or office printing is only possible because the digital printing process that bypasses the need for large printing space.

Commercial: Business stationery including business cards, letterheads

Variable data printing: Uses database driven print files for the mass personalization of printed materials.

Fine Art: Archival digital printing methods include real photo paper expose prints and giclee prints on water color paper using pigment based inks.

Print on Demand: Used for personalized printing, for example children’s books, customized with child’s name, wedding photo album.

Advertising: Often used for outdoor vinyl banners and event signage in trade shows, point of sale & direct mail campaign.

Photos: Photo printing in terms of the ability to retouch & color correct a photograph, before printing.

Architectural Design: Interior & exterior spaces to e transformed using digitally printed wall murals and floor graphics.
